Scholarships

Endowments at North Lee Community Foundation support various Fort Madison High School Scholarships. Pay careful attention to deadlines and requirements as applications will be disqualified for not meeting all the requirements. (i.e. no transcript included or not enough recommendation letters).

Frank V. Klein Memorial Scholar Athlete

Deadline 4/15/2025

The award will be given to a senior (male or female scholar athlete) who excelled this year in at least 2 different sports. The applicant must have earned a varsity letter in 2 sports, exemplified good sportsmanship, and have a 3.0 GPA or better at the end of the first semester of their senior year.

Garnette Hoffman Health Scholarship

Deadline 4/15/2025

One scholarship (amount determined by committee) will be awarded to an FMHS Senior who plans to further his/her education in the Health career field. The student must show academic aptitude, attend school at least by the fall semester after graduation and display good character and good citizenship within the school and community.

Louise E. Benbow-Gray Scholarship

Deadline 4/15/2025

The Louise E. Benbow-Gray Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to a senior who plans to pursue a college degree with a major in Language Arts. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA at the time of application.
